      Cynthia Louise Butler has been in private practice nationally for over 25 years. She has been a civil litigator with an ADR/Mediation appreciation in diverse subject areas and has worked a variety of matters including in federal Habeas, class actions, and issues of employment/labor/discrimination, fraud, housing, small business, corporate governance,  and patent and trademark issues .  She has represented clients in court referred mediations, EEOC mediations and mediations at many federal agencies including the US Department of Justice.  She has counseled a variety of non-profits and start-ups in formation and operational issues. Additionally she has served or supervised for many of Washington, DC's major law firms electronic discovery privilege reviews in major litigation nationally.

    Cynthia Louise Butler organized and brought a putative class action, in conjunction with seasoned class action counsel in Philadelphia, in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Federal Court (Philadelphia) that settled through a mediation for 3.5 Million dollars on behalf of race discrimination plaintiffs.

She is a member of the State Bars of California, the District of Columbia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania including Appellate and Federal Courts therein. She often teams up with local counsel and other collaborating counsel for maximal client representation and knows a wide network of attorneys with which she may affiliate as needed nationally.

Cynthia Butler has a keen interest in Politics, Foreign Policy, comparative Constitutional Law and International Peace Building. She actively participates in networking interfaith organizations along those lines in Washington, DC. She maintains a political blog that explores the relation between religion and politics at www.democracytruth.blogspot.com and has volunteered on a number of Presidential campaigns.

   Originally a Pennsylvania native, she has lived decades in Washington, DC, spent her high school years in London, England and has a keen interest in European travel and pilgrimages.
